Clinical Psychologist

She graduated from the Psychology undergraduate program at Özyeğin University in 2019 with high honors degree. During her undergraduate education, she worked as an intern at mental health hospitals such as The Private French Lape Hospital and Humanite Psychiatry Center. She obtained her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from King’s College London in the UK, graduating with high honors.

During her master’s program, she conducted psychotherapy sessions with individuals experiencing sleep disorders at the Maudsley Hospital in London. She wrote her thesis on mental health issues during and after pregnancy, and created a systematic review on the effects of Mindfulness therapies.

After her master’s degree, she completed a 6-month Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Practitioner training with Assoc. Prof. Itır Tari Cömert, and later finished MMPI Test training at Dr. Cömert’s own center, the Psychology Academy. Following her training, she gained experience in various online and face-to-face portals and clinics, which she also received additional trainings. She works based on the principles of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy, and brief solution-focused therapy.

She works with adults and adolescents, and works in various areas such as depression and anxiety. She is proficient in English. As of October 2024, she has started conducting English psychotherapy sessions at Mona Psychology.
